These Terms govern your use of Preceptor Sync (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What the service is — and isn’t
We help introduce and match nurse practitioner (NP) students with clinical preceptors, and we help coordinate the required paperwork with schools. We are not a school or university, we are not a medical provider, and we do not employ preceptors. We do not guarantee that any university or program will approve a given preceptor or rotation — that decision belongs to your school.
Who can use it
The service is for US residents who are 18 or older. You agree to provide accurate, current information.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate details, respond to your coordinator, meet your school’s requirements, and act professionally and lawfully. You are responsible for confirming that a preceptor and rotation meet your program’s rules.
Preceptors
Any compensation for preceptors is arranged directly and individually and is not governed by these public Terms.
Payments
We do not currently process payments through this website. There is no checkout, and we do not collect card details. If fees ever apply, we will agree them with you in advance and invoice you directly. This section will be updated when a payment method is added.
Our guarantees
We offer certain guarantees, described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Because we do not currently collect payment on the site, any money-related guarantee applies only to amounts you have actually paid.
No professional advice
The service is administrative matchmaking and coordination. It is not medical, legal, or academic advice.
Service provided “as is”
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee a match within any particular timeframe, a specific preceptor, or university approval.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have actually paid us (which may be zero).
Ending use
We may decline or discontinue service, for example for inaccurate information or misuse.
Governing law
Governing law and dispute resolution will be specified here.
Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post changes here with a new “Last updated” date.
